The Principals of MPT Inc., have produced the most effective, accurate, and value added material on Insider activity for the Investment community. We begin by looking at every insider transaction filed with the Securities & Exchange Commission. We then analyze the following critical factors:
- Transactor Title: Each transactor is ranked in order of importance to position within the company.
- Date: Rankings are assigned each sell/buy as to date with the most recent dates receiving the highest weighting.
- Size: Transactions over 10,000 shares receive a higher weighting.
- Initial Transactions: We discount any buy transactions by Directors if they are initial purchases.
- Historical Matrix: Transactions are normalized relative to the total population and to each individual company history over a seven year period.
